The National Garden Scheme
Wade Financial are proud primary sponsors of the National Garden Scheme in the North East of England, pledging our steadfast support to an organisation which opens gardens across the region for charitable causes.
We are excited by this fantastic organisation that has given more than £26m to nursing, caring and gardening charities over the last 15 years. It is a privilege to support such a successful and well respected charity.
Stephen Conway, Managing Director
Wade’s sponsorship of the National Garden Scheme in the North East is of real value to us, because it means more of the money our garden owners raise goes directly to the nursing and caring charities we support.
Maureen Kesteven, NGS County Organiser for Northumberland and Tyne and Wear
The Scheme has, since its inception in 1927, raised over £50 million for the likes of Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carers Trust and The Queen’s Nursing Institute, to name but a few.
How? Every year, garden owners open the doors to their pride and joy, inviting visitors from across the county to enjoy the beautiful greenery and scenery. All that is expected in return is a small donation, benefiting a number of healthcare and nursing charities, as well as one guest charity every year.
